What it is

A dictionary of dream symbols drawn from three public-domain books. Every passage names its book, volume and printed page, and links to the scanned source. That is the difference from the dream-content sites it sits beside in search results: there, text with no parent; here, text a book answers for.

What it does not do

It does not interpret. There is not one machine-written sentence on this site — no summaries, no rulings, no "what your dream means". No language model sits in the serving path; the pages are built ahead of time from the books' own text.

It does not translate. This interface has an English side; the books do not. Translating a 12th-century tafsir is interpreting it.

These books say themselves that a vision is read only by someone who knows the dreamer's circumstances. What is recorded here are possibilities written down by named scholars, not verdicts.

The authors died centuries ago, so the texts are public domain. The digitisation is Shamela's, credited on every passage and linked back. Shamela's robots.txt permits reference and search use and forbids AI training; the latter is honoured — no model is trained on this and none is in the serving path.
